WatchHouse Millennium Bridge takes its cues from the tension between the monumental architecture of the London skyline and the fleeting, atmospheric qualities of the Thames below.

Drawing on Monet’s paintings of the river Thames — where solid forms dissolve into mist, reflection and changing light — CAKE sought to distil something of this experience into the interior.

Warm timbers and earthy tones are layered with polished and brushed metals, filtered daylight and subtle pools of colour, creating an atmosphere that shifts throughout the day.
